Every year, we invest our resources in R&S activities within our own laboratories and participate in several international projects on innovative agriculture in collaboration with Italian and European universities and agronomic research centers. Our main R&S activities focus on the selection of microorganisms with beneficial functions for agriculture. We work to develop industrial production processes that preserve their core properties and improve their shelf life.

Our R&S platform identifies the best techniques for characterizing microorganisms to determine their most useful traits — such as macro- and micronutrient fixation, PGPM (Plant Growth-Promoting Microorganism) capabilities for increased resistance to biotic and abiotic stress, enhanced root development, antagonistic effects on plant pathogens, as well as compatibility and survival in different cultivation media.

We also have extensive experience in circular economy initiatives, particularly in characterizing and studying industrial processes for the reuse of organic by-products (agri-feedstock).
